Después de tantos días sin escribir os cuento que he estado solucionando temas de inmigración, ahora oficialmente ya tengo tarjeta de identificación del gobierno japonés, aquí se llama “Alien Registration Number”, si si, Alien, para la administración nipona soy un Alien como el octavo pasajero. El próximo paso es esperar a que me den la visa de larga estadía, ya hemos presentado todos los papeles pero ahora falta que los revisen todos, y como todo tema burocrático ya sabéis, a esperar.
El próximo tramite es el cambio del carnet de conducir español por el japonés, espero esto no se alargue tanto como los temas de inmigración.

After so many days without writing I tell you that I have been solving immigration issues. I have now officially identification card from the Japanese government, here called “Alien Registration Number”.  Yes yes, Alien, for the administration I am an Alien, like “eighth passenger”. The next step is to obtain long-stay visa. We have already submitted all required papers to Immigration Office, but now have to wait them to review, like all other bureaucratic issues…
The next procedure is to change my Spanish driver’s license to Japanese license. I hope this does not take so much time as immigration issues.

しばらく投稿してなかったけど、ここ数日のあいだに滞在許可手続きなどなどが片付きつつある。
まず一つに、外国人登録を済ませて「外国人登録カード」を手に入れることができた。このカードの正式名称は「エイリアン登録カード」。そう、書類上では僕は「エイリアン」ということになるのです。映画eighth passengerみたい。
次のステップは永住ビザをとること。もう必要書類は入国管理局宛にほぼ送ったけど、審査が終わるまでは待たないといけない。お役所仕事は時間がかかる・・。
で、次は自動車免許をスペイン版から日本版に切り替えること。ビザほどに時間がかからんといいけどなぁ。
